Ursula Godoy-Arbelaez, CEO and President

Ursula Godoy-Arbelaez established Guardian Vue Partners in 2023, recognizing a need for fractional CFO services amongst small to medium cap companies. She brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, capital allocation, mergers & acquisitions, finance, treasury, investor engagement, risk management, accounting and talent development and retention. In addition, she has extensive experience in full-cycle events, both in the public and private markets — raising capital, capital recycling, IPOs, recapitalizations, etc.
Most recently, Ursula served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Sol-REIT, one of the first solar mortgage REITs in the U.S. In her role as CFO, she was responsible for evaluating, enhancing and executing on strategic direction, leading financial planning, reporting and accounting, designing and implementing financial processes, and managing cash flows.
Prior to then, she served as a senior executive leader for over 10 years at CatchMark Timber Trust, Inc., a publicly-traded, pure-play timberland investment company. As Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, she was responsible for strategic financial management, risk management, and strategic planning including evaluating growth initiatives and strategic alternatives to unlock shareholder value. Ursula was an integral senior leader that led the successful company merger, resulting in a 55% premium in share price at time of announcement. Before joining CatchMark, Ursula held various Finance, Treasury and Accounting positions at Wells Real Estate Funds, Inc. and Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Ursula earned an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.B.A. in Accounting (Cum Laude) from Georgia State University. Ursula was named to Georgia State University’s 40 Under 40, Class of 2020, an award recognizing the most influential and innovative graduates who embody the values of Georgia State.
Ursula currently serves as Board Member for her alma mater’s Honors College Board of Visitors and is a member of St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School’s Advancement Committee. Previously, Ursula also served as Student Engagement Chair for Georgia State University’s Honors College Alumni Advisory Board from 2022 to 2023, as Finance & Audit Committee member for the National Alliance of Forest Owners from 2020 to 2022, and as Audit Committee Chair for Notre Dame Academy from 2018 to 2020.
